We enjoyed food and drink from vendors in our community as well as the fellowship of hundreds of supporters of A Woman's Work. Special thanks to Susan Pratt for hosting this lovely event and all the sponsors who made it possible.

An Auction of Magnificent Men to Benefit A Woman’s Work

Donors will support A Woman’s Work by bidding to enjoy an  “excursion” with some of the area’s most interesting and dynamic men. A series of auctions will be held every Wednesday evening in October at Martini’s Bistro, 543 Terry Street, Longmont from 7-8 p.m. We will post all the men and their "excursions" on our website and will take bids online as well.

Here is how it works:
Men will share their “trading cards” that give their interests and what they would like to do on their “excursion”. This may include a meal or activity chosen to reflect the gentleman’s personality or interests (some examples of the excursions include a bike ride along the St. Vrain Greenway with a stop for lunch, a scenic flight over the Front Range for 2 people, a tailgate party and tickets to a CU Football Game for the gentleman and three others and many more creative and fun outings). Men, ages 21 to 70 have volunteered and been photographed for this fun event.  The top twelve money earners will be in the Magnificent Men of A Woman's Work Calendar for 2011. We are already taking pre-orders for this fun and very handsome $20 calendar.

A Woman's Work is excited about an old fashioned holiday bazaar that will compliment the Real Deals Holiday Sale benefitting A Woman's Work on Wednesday, October 20, 2010. In addition to the affordable and beautiful array of holiday decorations, there will be a variety of holiday gifts available next door at the Holiday Bazaar. Stay tuned for more information!
