Thanksgiving is right around the corner, which creates an opportunity for those of us at A Woman’s Work to reflect on our many blessings. We are grateful for:

Our Donors & Volunteers
Each of you, whether you are donating your time, talent, or money, is the reason AWW exists and is able to help so many women in need in our community. When you make a tax-deductible donation to AWW, when you help on a committee, volunteer at Fabulous Finds, or help stuff envelopes, you allow us to help countless women in need in our community. In 2015, AWW gave over $230,000 to more than 200 women in need. This year, we are on pace to give even more.

Our Board of Directors
AWW is blessed to have 16 individuals that serve on our Board of Directors. These women contribute to AWW, in many ways, on an almost daily basis. Each reviews our grant applications as they are received, volunteers at events, serves on committees and attends events in the community as ambassadors of AWW. They tell our story and generate enthusiasm. They are the heart of our organization, and our work could not be done without them.

Our Community
The St. Vrain Valley community has adopted our cause and rallied behind us. Wherever we go and with whoever we meet, we are met by individuals who want to help and make a difference by partnering with AWW. We are grateful for our numerous professional partners who act as our eyes and ears in the community and make referrals to us; for our countless business sponsors who underwrite our operations, make donations to our auctions, and help us with everything from car repairs to legal advice. We are thankful for the St. Vrain Valley School District, local churches, Longmont United Hospital, The Pearl Group, and Rocky Mountain Cancer Center, to name a few.

Our Mission
The work we do at AWW is a privilege and honor. Because of the generosity of so many, we are able to come alongside women in the community who don’t have anywhere else to turn. We provide one-time monetary grants that truly make a difference in these women’s lives, turning desperate situations into ones with hope.

We, at AWW, strive to share our many blessings with our community every day. Thank you to each of you for blessing this organization and helping us to do our good work.
