A Woman’s Work is an important and integral part of our community – because it bridges a gap for local women in need who don’t have anywhere else to turn. This organization gets help to the women who need it without red tape and in a timely matter. I am honored and privileged to be a part of A Woman’s Work.
My love affair with this organization began long before I was hired as the Executive Director. I served on the Board of A Woman’s Work from 2005-2012. During that time, I also served on the Executive Committee, Fundraising Committee, and Marketing and Communications Committee. I joined the AWW Board in 2005 after moving back to my hometown after college and graduate school. At that time, and today still, I was excited to be a part of an organization that allowed me to give back to a community that has given me so much.
I graduated from the University of Colorado in 1999, and went on to graduate with a J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2005. I am married to my high school sweetheart, John, and we have two children, Grant and Clare.
